I think the ladies over at AWARE, both old and new, are doing themselves and women a disservice by dragging this business on and on. It sure doesn't do any favours for women when they are seen to be conniving, mean, vengeful, quarrelsome, and whatever else people must be thinking about them now.So, ladies, just stop it.

But some things are worth fighting for. Anyway almost all wars are started by men and what of male road bullies, brothers fighting over bus routes, fighting over inheritance, etc. If the recent events at AWARE are giving women a poor image, it is only because society holds women to higher standards.
Hmm... I wonder if there is a 'dignified' way to fight...
Don't think very much of those brothers either...
We have been reading so much bout the fights at the various country clubs, athletics associations etc. So it is refreshing to see the women have a go at it. And as if to prove a point, this fight clearly shows that "what the men can do, we gals can do better."
Ho ho...
I am finding it difficult to separate the name AWARE and these words from the Helen Reddy song .... "I am woman, hear me roar."
Oh... 70s women's lib, feminist song!
I liked some of her songs, e.g. No way to treat a lady.
"Candle on the water" is my favourite.
Love that song :)
