Risk your life and limbs

Now, honestly, how many people (who are not foreign workers who have no choice) would actually not mind being ferried in a lorry, even with 'better' seating height restrictions, seating space, canopy and what not (some of which will take three years to install)?

Many years ago I sat at the back of a pick-up when we moved house. It was the best ride I ever had, better than any luxury car, especially when the pick-up went thro Orchard Road. But of course at that time safety was not on my mind. My kids and their friends moved from place to place on the back of a pick-up too when we went on a village holiday in Thailand and they referred to it as "the sweet ride" because it was so fun. If it could be made safe and when it doesn't rain, it really is a nice ride.

Ha ha, I agree it can be fun.

But I dunno if it's for work purposes. Daily.
