A very, very big hand for Caroline Wozniacki, too. I'm glad she did not wither in the spotlight or against a Big Name.
Either way, I would have been happy for the winner. This year had quite a few outbursts and meltdowns and these two distinguished themselves by remaining cool to the end. And they both look happy most of the time, too, which was really quite welcome, after the many frowning and stressed faces on both the men's and ladies' sides.
